Ronny is a young Hanoverian Gelding we bred from Yirrkala Exclusive via embryo transfer. Ronny shows great scope and potential to progress through the ranks. He is so similar to his mother and shows the same natural talent. He has competed up to 110cm with great style and success already. This young horse will certainly be one to watch in the near future.

Purchaced by Team Mackillop as a 2yo, this Welsh Cob has been in the family from the beginning. Cynan, as he is known at home, has taken Steph all the way in her jumping career and they now frequently compete in Junior and Young Rider classes, as well as winning their first Mini Prix together at Bega in December 2013. Steph and Cy have had great sucess together. Cynan has also proved that height is no barrier as he is only a pony yet is still competitive in open competiton and excells in 6 bars with his PB at 165cm!

Carla as she is know at home is our amazingly talented and eye-catching mare who has already had a lot of success with Steph. They have formed a very special partnership in a short time and have a lovely relationship at home and in the ring. Her attitude towards jumping is incredible with her aim being to get to the other side of the fence, but also not to touch it on her way! She is very careful and has loads of scope!
Steph and Carla have already had multitudes of success in Young Rider and open Mini Prix/Silver Tour classes. Together they took out the 2015 National Young Rider of the Year, competeing against Young Riders in every state of Australia. They also came 11th overall in the Young Rider Championships at the Australian National Showjumping Titles in Victoria, 2015. In 2016, Steph and Carla qualified in 7th place in their first Silver Tour at the AQUIS Showjumping Classic in QLD and in the final took out the 3rd place. It was a step up for the combination and they put in an incredible performace for a well deserved spot on the podium. We really look forward to their journey together and watching this combination grow.

Dougie, as he is known at home, is an off the track thoroughbred purchased by Team Mackillop in November 2012. Since then Riley has really become a great team with Dougie and they have grown together and now are starting to jump around some big Junior and Young Rider tracks all round the country. Dougie is a unique horse who has a quirky personality and is missing his wither however this doesn't seem to take anything away from his amazing, scopey jump. Recently, at the Australian National Showjumping Championships in Werribee, Victoria, Riley and Dougie placed 4th in the Junior Final Grand Prix, posting a great double clear. This resulted in an overall 10th placing out of the very large and toughly contested Junior field of more than 100 riders. We look forward to seeing how far these two will get in the future.

Brychan is our superstar youngster! Broken in by Steph and Penny as a 2yo, Brychan has really taken to his showjumping career. He has a fantastic, willing attitude and really wants to please. His first showjumping round was a beautiful clear around the Northside 65cm. At his second show young student Julia Percy guided him around his first ever 75cm beautifully. At his third event, Steph picked up a 2nd in the 65cm and win in the 75cm! He is a real natural jumper and has a great jumpers canter. Brychan is now available for lessons at Team Mackillop.

Laura is an amazing little pony who has taken both Steph and Riley through Pony Club and into the Showjumping world with great success. She has also taught many other children how to ride and taken them through pony club. Laura had a rough first 10 years of her life with having 6 owners in 10 years and haveing gone through the sales twice. When she came to Team Mackillop she was quite crazy and firey however with time and patience from Penny she became the most competitve pony around and excelled in the showjumping (as she can win any jump off!) and sporting/mounted games disciplines. In 2008 Laura and Steph won the State Pony Club Sporting Championships held at Gundagai out of a very competitve age group. She then was reserve champion the next year. Laura has also been part of the Forest Hillbillies Mounted Games team for many years now with multiple different riders. Laura recently received the 'Rocky trophy' at Pony Club which is awarded for a horse that excels at Mounted Games, at Club, Zone and State level and who has experienced different riders over a period. Laura is still going strong today and is the most honest, yet still competitve horse you could ask for.

Rhi the 'super mum' is a full sister to Alcheringa Tradition and has just had her 7th colt, however, Brenin is her first foal bred by Team Mackillop. Brenin, meaning 'King' in Welsh, is very suitably named as he is treated like royalty around here. Brenin is a stunning black gelding who has started jumping under saddle already and will hopefully take after his uncle Cy and his dad Casino Royale. We are very excited to watch this little one grow up and start competing.
